Can the Bobcats advance to 5 and 0?

Will it be another shootout?

Fairview can surprise you, but I think Green is still going to go 5-0.
Green doesn't even try to hide the fact that they are going to run it, run it and run it some more with athletes like Brannigan and Lodwick.

If you watched the game last week Southerns QB was an amazing passer, possibly the best athlete on the field.
Greens rushing attack made Southerns Defense give up at halftime though.

Sep 16 (W5) A Ashland Fairview KY, [W by 6, 64%] via Drew Pasteur

but.........he's had them losing 3 of the last 4 so take that for what its worth lol.

I'll take the Bobcats and their run game.

They aren't beating world beaters. That's not the point. They are winning games. And thats what they need to rebuild a culture. As long as a 3-7 season was pleasantly surprising then that's all they'd ever have. Schedule some winnable games, build something for the future.

Are they going to compete for the region? Most likely not.
Can they make some noise in the SOC1? I believe so. Maybe even win a playoff game with the new seeding and a favorable match-up.

I'll take Green by 21.

Green takes this one by running hard and continuing to improve. Why talk about strength of schedule? there is no selection committee, style points aren't being awarded, just go out and win football games and the rest will take care of it's self. Winning Football Games is what the Bobcats are doing and the excitement in the furnace is through the roof.

Right on the money and a few years ago these were toss ups for them. Now they are getting it done.

Fairview can throw the football. Green can run the football. Fairview is tired by the end of the second, Green runs away in the 3rd. Green by 14 in another defensive struggle 45-31.

Oh well, same thing was said about them a few years back when they finished 8-3 and made the playoffs. Doesn't matter how it gets done everyone knows where Green typically is their schedule is typically low end but they're winning this season so far. It's like dang if they do danged if they don't, if they win well their schedule is low end, if they lose it's like well it's Green. Give the kids a break they're playing the teams that are on their schedule enough said.

Northwest got blown out by Huntington. East got beat by South Gallia. ND is also hit and miss. I believe with a stroke of luck we could be looking at a potential league title. Frontrunners are kind of stumbling this year. I know it's still early and SOC play is rarely predictable. But I'd love nothing more than for the Bobcats to take home at least a share of the SOC the year they got a new school/field

I'm happy they are winning some games, but let's be realistic. They are beating some really really bad teams. It all starts with confidence and they are gaining alot. But the real tests are about to start. Wish them the best of luck

Still some things to clean up after tonight. Overall great game and great win but we are getting into the weeks where they need to play not just good but mistake free. I have every reason to believe they can. Go Cats!

Green fans, tell me if this actually happened.
I have some friends from Fairview. They are telling me that you kept your starters in until the very end of a 48-18 game. That alone, if true, is classless. Also, I heard that they called a time out with 20 seconds to play...with all starters still in...and called a pass play to try to score again.
If true, Coffman is a piece of crap classlass coach. NO ONE does this. Did it actually happen ?
