Well burg fans are super intense. But burg has lost to two really really good football teams by and average of 8 points. I don’t think a panic button needs to be pushed. This burg team is going to be hard to beat once they figure out how to put the ball across the goaline of stout defenses. Burg has moved the ball against both defenses. Just have to figure out how to get in the end zone
Halfway mark and haven't figured out how to score. Idk.

Why wouldn’t you believe that ?
Because it rarely happens? Just taking a shot in the dark here.
I guess "superior coaching" don't get theirs tonight. Lol.

Silly not to give ample credit both ways. Burg held Jackson to 0 points and 65 yards through the middle of the 3rd quarter. That’s some impressive readiness and coaching. Jackson was lights out after their adjustments….big props to Hall and staff.

Wheelersburg has a top notch defense. Very well coached and aggressive. Very good football team. The difference in Ironton , Jackson , and Wheelersburg is very minimal.

Yep. I think the difference is burg doesn’t have the consistency in passing

They’re really good at what they do on offense. Good chance for an 8-2 regular season and battle tested for a post season run. Some fans are too spoiled.

Great atmosphere, Wheelersburg always classy. Love this game , look forward to it every year.

I don’t know if they’re spoiled per say but more of an expectation. When you haven’t had a losing regular season since 1964 you’ll have that.

I hope this game is on the schedule for the foreseeable future. It’s great for both teams not only prepares each team for the playoffs but provides quite a bit of playoff points to the winner.

I bet this game was really fun to watch.
I hope both teams can make some noise in the playoffs.

Having watched nearly 50 years of Wheelersburg football, I will say the 4 field goals we made is definitely a school record!

Well Burg fans, I hate to see the Pirates lose any game regardless of the sport. However any one second guessing the leadership in my opinion is wrong. The boys and coaches are doing an excellent job, consider two losses, one to a team that can't play by the rules,. and another div 3 team coached by past Burg players and coaches that do play by the rules. Burg is still very highly viewed in the state and always will be. Football is king for 3 months and then forgotten for another year. Play the games the right and you will always be the winner.

Was keeping burg out of the end zone against the rules? Lmao. What rules? Be specific and detailed.

Burg has a terrible foundation for the excuses and accusations.

Not second guessing the coaches at all. We just got out coached this game. Was really hoping to see the younger QB who was warming up with about 3 minutes to go. Go Burg
