I think the Hornets open the season at Berne Union. Then I think at home against Lucasville Valley. I’m not 100% certain though.

Looking at Maxpreps looks to be right, not sure how much Coal Grove lost or has coming back but I believe that BU team was senior heavy so should be able to start out the gate on a high note.

Looks like CG should be 7-0 going into the Tank.

Maybe more like 4-3 heading into Ironton where they’ll drop to 4-4, 4-5 the next week as well. Won’t touch 7 wins all season let alone be 7-0 lol.

SHOULD BE based on 3 non conf.games vs struggling teams and 4 OVC games against teams they’ve had success against in past. Never underestimate 2 trap 😎

Awesome for CG getting some new facilities. They need to get some new away bleachers. Those things are horrible, feel like I’m signing my death certificate every time I have to walk up the bleachers since stairs don’t exist. Lol

Did they? Awesome if so. I can’t remember the last time I was there. 4 years ago maybe? Last year they were at Portsmouth. 2020 was COVID year so I couldn’t get tickets due to limited seating/spacing. 2019 was at Portsmouth so yeah I guess 2018 was the last time I’ve been there. Will be nice to not have to climb the bleachers this fall then. Lol

Visitors bleachers were replaced prior to 2020. I just wish they would have extended them 5-10 yards each direction. There is also additional parking by the stadium. It is where the old tennis courts were located. It is accessible if you turn left onto Carlton Davidson Lane( first street on left before Clark’s pump n shop on Marion Pike). Drive past Pickett concrete and the entrance is on the right before the Coal Grove townhouse. It sits right behind the concession stand.
