I can remember years ago when it seemed as if the Pointers usually had the advantage over the Dragons in football, it hasn't been that way recently. The Dragons probably by a very comfortable margin.

That’s one thing about coach Cunningham, he believes in his players and his players believe in him. Makes for a well-rounded team on both sides of the ball.

I believe he is one of, if not the best coach in the OVC. Took a team from 0-10 his first season and turned them into a contender.

Coach Cunningham is in my opinion the best coach in the OVC. Melvin has built something special at Fairland all while helping to mold better young men on and off the field. Coach Cunningham has been putting players in position to succeed since he has been at Fairland. Huge opportunity this week for the Dragons coming up with Portsmouth at the concrete palace.

Ironton was middle of road OVC til 4 years ago. Hard to argue against a coach that’s been to back to back state championships.

I do think Coach Cunningham has done a very good job building the Fairland program into a consistent playoff team though.

SP is competitive in most sports lol. Currently 2nd in boys and girls soccer. 3rd in volleyball. Better than some schools can say. Ironton is tied for last in volleyball, maybe they should go to SOC 1?

My comment wasnt that deep, I only know of their football team who hasnt won a conference game in quite some time. Was simply stating if that was the case in most sports thats a sign for change, glad its not. Just making conversation lol
