Jacob Winters/Tristan Prater and Coulter Cleland would be my two nominees among games that we covered at the 740 Zone.

I'll have to go with Little, sounds like a great performance.

Northwest freshman Connor Lintz had 5 catches for 105 yards.

Matthew Miller of Wheelersburg had a standout opener in his first appearance in a couple of years, since battling a dangerous injury last season.

He would get my vote also, not a bad performance for the first game of the year, especially the final play of the game.

From the nominations listed here. Its kind of a no brainer. It's the stud from Unioto.

Haven’t seen the official stats but Minford’s QB Vogelsong-Lewis and WR Risner had a big game

QB Vogelsong-Lewis: 4tds, 326 yrds passing, 0ints

WR/HB Risner: 10 receptions 243yrds receiving with 4tds
Not sure on his rushing yards

Risner was close of breaking Minford’s all purpose yards record

Should level of competition factor in?

Yes, it most certainly should, on the other hand, we all know that at times that is not taken into consideration.
