Jackson 59 - 3 McClain

Post by Ironman92 »

Jackson will host the McClain Tigers Friday night. McClain has put together a couple wins and look like maybe can compete for a win or two in the weak looking FAC.

Jackson the huge favorite and a non-running clock will surprise many of you on here. I don’t care about a running clock but hope Jackson can continue their focus from week 5 and get the main players out of there for the 2nd half. Prater still healing. Spires, Graham, Parks and others needs some rest and a less stressful on the body game.

Be nice to hear the names of McGraw, McManaway, Jones, Webb, Skeens and others a lot in the 2nd half.

I’d love to see Jackson play well and dominate the first quarter and a half and then get Joseph Richison a couple carries and get Ty Ruckel a TD. Team would just go crazy happy for those guys.

Jackson needs to stay focused. From week 1 to week 5 Jackson is so much improved. One week at a time.

42-0 at the half, Greenfield is terrible.

On paper after Jackson’s week 5 performance but these games Jackson doesn’t always dominate early.

We’ll see

Trying the ole reverse psychology! Good tactic. I find this most affective against bad teams

Western Brown is going to go 0-10 and they were within 1 score way too long.

I’m just saying we won’t be up 42-0 at half. We may win by 40 but we don’t always thrive early in these type of games

Jackson’s biggest opponent will be complacency. Coaches have to find ways to keep them focused on the goal

After dispatching Wheelersburg pretty convincingly, as has already been posted, probably the best thing that could happen with the Ironmen this coming weekend, would be able to give a few players a little more rest than usual. Just because you are 5-0 doesn't mean that you don't have kids playing every week, with bumps and bruises just like everyone else. The margin of the win, with the exception of being able to play a lot of kids shouldn't really matter, as long as it's a good solid win. The schedule has a lot tougher teams from here on out.

McClain defense is suspect at best, Jackson may have a slow start but should pull away with ease, running clock.

Greenfield goes from playing beaver to playing at Jackson? That’s quite the eye opener. Bring your $3 and enjoy the spectacle (it’s a bit much)

Can anyone stay within 30 of Jackson in the FAC?

Nope, very similar to OSU and the Big10 in regular season.

At Hillsboro will not be taken lightly. They aren’t what they were last year but they have big boys and a very good coach and home field. ...but we do have payback to make.

I doubt we win 3 of them by 30

Agree and staying level headed after a 5-0 start.

Stay focused and one game at a time. No letdowns. These are the teams that if you let in the game will cause trouble. Go out play Ironmen football. Stay healthy. And let’s move onto the next. No letdown. Stay hungry.
