Gallia Academy 55 Chesapeake 20

Post by MisterGalliaGuy2016 »

Since no one has started this thread, I'll be the MVP and do it. My gut says GA by two scores or more. Bounce back after a tough loss to the Ironmen.

If the Blue Devils can put the heartbreaking loss from last week behind them, and just know how great of a year is still ahead of for them, that they can still contend for the League championship and mayby even the playoffs, they will be fine. If they play defense the way they played against Jackson,I think the Peake will have trouble scoring very much at all. The Blue Devils by at least a couple scores.

I like the Devils in this one. Devils played one heck of a game against Jackson. Despite getting an L, I believe the sentiment in Gallipolis is that the Blue Devils can play with anyone. I expect the boys in blue (or grey) to bring intensity and passion in this one. GA will win this one by 3+ scores. The coaching staff will have a well prepared game plan, and will lead the players to a victory. The culture in Gallipolis is changing. Not but two-three years ago, players did not expect to win, rather they hoped to win. Now, those young men step on that field expecting to ring the victory bell after the game. That is a huge testament to the culture that Coach Penrod and his staff have brought to the program. Anyone that follows Gallia Academy should be very excited for what the future might hold for the program.

Gallia by a bunch

I think they bounce back here. But I really think they will find it hard to not come out flat after last week. Probably still at least a two score game but won’t be surprised if close for quite a while.

No one is looking ahead but this is game sandwiched between Jackson and then you have Portsmouth fairyland and coal grove to follow.

Gallia handles business after slow start.

THey lost a lot from last year. Have a good QB. They have some good athletes just not enough of them. I’d say Gallia wins easy.

Gallipolis is improved over the last several years and will win out unless they don’t show up for a game. After Jackson, their schedule requires only sitting on cruise control.

Gallipolis is improved but they by know means are good enough to go through the rest of schedule on cruise control.

With who they play, they should have no difficulties.

I think they will have all they want from Portsmouth that will actually probably be the most physical game of year. Fairland is a tough match up for them. Coal grove will try to beat them with Jackson’s game plan. And ironton I think will be pretty good come week 9. All those games are winnable. But they will have to play well.
