Week Ten: Warren (3-6, 1-2) AT Logan (5-4, 3-0)

Post by loganlocos »

Logan comes back home looking to lock up the outright SEOAL title. Looking forward to giving the class of 2014 a champion's welcome at Logan Chieftain Stadium.

But Logan needs to finish the job, Warren won't roll over and have shown the ability to surprise people this year (see Parkersburg South, Gallipolis).

Heck of a job by the LHS program to turn things around. Can't wait to see them finish the job this week!

... looking forward to seeing TEAM Purple ring the victory bell after the game Friday night ... I KNOW!!! have to play and get the "W" first BUT this years seniors/the captains had a goal - "RESTORE ORDER" bring another SEOAL Championship back to LHS , NOT a co-championship BUT a Purple at the top of the heap ALONE Championship ... look for the D to come out early with a "punch to the mouth" attitude - set the tone on D early ... offensively the Chiefs ARE a smash mouth/blue collar team - nothing wrong with getting 2 RBs over 100 yds each with a team total of 300 yds on the ground while mixing in DeLong/Fisher & Co. representing the "good hands people" ... "RESTORE ORDER" ... "ringing the bell" ... "Marching Chieftains" ... SEOAL CHAMPIONSHIP ... all is good again in the Land of Purple ...

That would be about right. Warren's only decent win was Gallia. Their other wins were against PBurg South who stands 2-6 & against Marietta (Warren won by 7) who is even worse than South . There will be NO shared Championship for Logan. Go Chiefs!!

Congrats to Logan...

From someone who knows programs ups/downs, it is never easy to restore anything...

I played in 4 Logan/Athens games, tons of fun...can't wait til 2015!

Logan is just too much for Warren. Warren will be lucky to get 10 first downs and score 14 points. Logan is rolling and no way do they lose this game.

Easy pick of the week

Logan 42
Warren 6

Do I sense some reverse psychology at work here? ;-)

No way....easy prediction. Yeah, maybe I'm giving Logan too much credit but when is the last time the Warren football team ever won a big game on the road....I'm sure they play hard but Logan is just flat out better.

I'll take Warren in a close one. I didn't see anything spectacular in the Logan/ Gallia game friday so I honestly think the seoal is almost even across the board. I'll give it to the chieftans though they've hung in there all year and did what the others didn't.

Don't get me wrong, I'm picking the Chiefs to come out and impose their will on both sides of the ball.

BUT, Warren did go to Gallipolis two weeks ago and win. Not an easy feat for anyone in the SEOAL.

Logan, in its 3 games in the league with Portsmouth, Jackson and Gallia, has scored 117 pts for a 39 pts per game average while giving up 69 pts or 23 pts per game. That's a 16 pt average winning margin . So my 35-14 game prediction looks pretty close to reality. And, of course, an outright SEOAL title.

Go Chiefs !

He ask ne to convey his thoughts and predictions this week while I am also off work from the school system at Logan! So here we go! Look for the Chiefs to continued there winning ways and lets all get behind the team and fill the swamp up and cheer the Chiefs on to the outright SEOAL Championship!
