Week 11: #7 Oak Hill @ #2 Bishop Ready

Well, can the Oaks travel 2 hours north and shock the D6 football world and shake up Region 21?

That would be great. Not going to happen though. Bishop Ready too much for the Oaks.

Really tough draw for Oak Hill. I think Ready is way to much for the Oaks.

I love Southeast Ohio football but the Oak's will need a little more than a stone. Wish them well but I think Reedy wins by 2 scores.

Games like this you just have to coach every player to compete on every down offensively and defensively and grind no matter what.

Compete, compete, compete, never look up and hope when you get to quarter #4 that all your teammates have done the same thing and there is a ball game to win.

Let the situation of playing a quality opponent get into your head and it will be a long night.

Good luck Oaks! Go compete.

ready big. lots and lots of speed on the ready team. they will score quickly and often. i hope they show a little class and dont run it up too much as they have shown they are not afraid to do so after hanging 98 on wash court house in the regular season.

As much as I would like the Oaks to win I dont think it will happen I think it will take a team the caliber of Valley (and no disrespect to Oakhill ) to play with and or beat Bishop Ready.....

It's always a tough thing to prepare for. In the back of your mind as a coach you want to tell yourself and your team you have a chance, because if not you should not be the coach of them. But you have to know that it's gonna be a long ride home. As someone said before, lets just hope they have a little bit of class and not score more than 50 points.

No. I wish I could say that they had a chance, but I think this one will be very ugly. Good luck to the Oaks though.

If you were four yards away from beating Hartley and getting the first 10-0 season ever in school history, you'd be hungry as hell for a bounce back win.

Ready will have several transfers that are highly skilled, and unlike most small town d6 teams have an unfair advantage of transfers from neighborhood schools.
