It would be just like OHSAA to send the higher seed twice as far as the lower seed... better not be Lancaster

Athens is nearly exactly in the middle and would be an idea spot

Nelsonville is clearly too small, I hope it is not there

I'd bet Nelsonville too.

Bloom Carroll has turf , again not a fair distance for Lucasville, but a nice fit for the crowd.

The OHSAA will probably choose NY. I know people say it is too small, and all....but they way they will look at it is the fact:

Nelsonville held the 2012 D5 Region 19 Championship between Valley and LU just fine, it was a packed house, but everyone saw the game. I think a D-6 Regional Semi-Final isnt going to shy them away from making that selection.

NC to NY - Approx 63 miles
LV to NY - Approx 81 miles

I dont know if Logan Elm has turf now? I think back in 05 when Valley played Ready....it was grass.

Logan Elm is 47 miles for Valley, and 51 miles for NC, another good option, if they have turf.

For a crowd this size this needs to be at Jackson, and after all Valley is the home team. I have a feeling this will be at Logan and NC will get the 45 min drive to Logan, as opposed to Valley getting the 45 min drive to Jackson.

Hopefully the Athens vs Tri-Valley game will be at Logan. I would love to see this game at Jackson. I just can't let myself believe the OHSAA would give us such a gift.

It won't be at Athens, we are playing on the same night. Jackson or Nelsonville would be my guesses.

I've been told they have a senior stud QB that maxpreps lists as being 6'4"-215lbs.

I know Newark Catholic has a very rich football tradition, but I think Valley wins this one. Good luck to the Indians.
