Trail coming off a loss to a great Ridgewood squad 60-7 and Caldwell lost to Newcomerstown 34-7.This game will be played on Thursday at the Noble County Fair in the Fair Bowl.I have not heard one good thing about either team.Considering Trail went 1-9 last season with 13 Srs there in for a long season.Caldwell has some mess to clean up of there own.Carpenter just is not a QB.The team isn't real fast and one of the teams best backs VanMeter is out game of his suspension.Look for Kale Rayner,Andrew Minoski, and Cameron Rayner and the big Caldwell Offensive line to wear down the Warriors. 28-7 Skins

Not to take anything away from either team, but if there's a good movie on, or someone's throwin' a big party in Caldwell or Old Washington, I think I'll save my money and avoid this one. Has all the makings of a 8-6 game if I'm reading Week 1's efforts right. Good luck to both, but it could get as scary as Paranornal Activities show.

Redskins. Buckeye Trail is the new Waterford of the PVC. Gonna be awhile before Trail can challenge any PVC squad.

It's thirsty Thursday. And it's during the fair. I'm sure someone will be having a party. Or you could always head on down to the crick.

I thought trail looked a little better this year. Nice size and a few good athletes, but no depth. They were actually in the game until about halfway through the 2nd quarter, but self-destructed with penalties and turnovers. They had 2 nice drives for both their scores against Ridgewood's 1st team defense. But my sources up north tell me that this is by no means a "great" Ridgewood team, probably the fewest athletes they have had on the field in 10 years.

Good atmosphere for the game with the fair going on.....otherwise nobody would go to this one. Caldwell will win because Trail is so bad. I thought Caldwell would be the third best or should I say least bad team in the league. Now I am not so sure they can beat anyone but Trail and maybe Shenandoah and River.

Hope that was a mistake. Don't see Caldwell even coming close to river based on what I've seen so far.
