WEEK 13 Valley vs. Liberty Union

Post by piratepride05 »

Valley comes off a very decisive win against Wynford and LU comes off a very good game with Oak Hill. Should be a good one. I look for the game to be at Jackson or somewhere outside of Columbus. Good luck to the Indians, all of Scioto County is behind you!

Thoughts on the game?

If this game is anywhere close to CBUS we riot.

I'd say Jackson, Logan, or N-Y.

Valleys defense is just ridiculous. The last 4 games they have played were against 4 playoff teams (Burg, Minford, CG, Wynford) Valley has given up 24 total points..

Jackson would be my best guess now that I have thought it over. However, who knows with the ohsaa...

I had some friends at the Oak Hill game who know people at NY and said that NY and one other school they heard were under consideration. They did not know the other school.

should be closer to the 1 seed if anything..

Jackson:

LU = 1 hr 35 min
LV = 45 min

Logan

LU = 36 mins
LV = 1 hr 36 min

Nelsonville

LU = 50 mins
LV = 1 hr 40 mins

Congrats to Valley on the win. I had expected a close game.

I was correct on 5 of 7 SEO games this week. MIssed two close ones both nailed the blowouts to be blowouts -- Marshall & St. C.

I'd look for a game closer to Columbus.

Has Jackson put into host? That's the first question which has to be answered.

Only worry with Jackson is they did not host a second round game. If they did not put in, then who knows.

I'd say Jackson if they put in and Logan if they didn't.

With the OHSAA wanting turf fields, there just aren't that many in our part of the state.

I can't imagine them not.....the AD is now the basketball coach but I doubt that would matter.

There are a handful of posters on here that would know....I'm not one of them.

EndzoneWarrior....how is Jackson a logical choice when LU would drive 1 hour 35 minutes and LV would drive 45 minutes....yet Nelsonville is "BS" because LU would drive 50 minutes and LV would drive 1 hour 40 minutes??? The difference is exactly the same. How is it BS for one school to drive farther but logical for the other?
