Can anyone beat the Tomcats this year?
Can anyone beat the Tomcats this year?
I really don't think so. Lets loo at the games and some facts:
1. Nelsonvile - These guys got lucky last year. Frantic Phil from Walnut Hill has worked the troops hard in the weight room. The Cats are simply too big, too fast, and too wellcoached to fall to the "worthless nuts" this fall. With the new stuff they are doing on offense, i see big things happening in Gtown.
Trimble 21 Nelsonvile 6
2. Wamaha - These guys got lucky last year. Now we know how to defend that chikin crap offense. We are way too physical to lose to these guys two years in a row.
Trimble 40 Wamaha 0
3. South Gallia - Are you kidding?
Trimble 66 South Gallia 0
4. Coal Grove - These guys got lucky last year. Rusty has the defense ready to shove those traps up the Hornets butts.
Trimble 27 Coal Grove 6
5 - 10 - Miller and the rest of the SVAC - are you kidding?
No one holds us under 40 and nobody scores.
Loos like a number one seed in the playoffs and a significantly improved season with lots of wins and more great food and drink on the lot. Cant wait to share a few recipes on the post game show on the radio.......

Just remember the first 2 opponents have key players returning, NY is loaded and Wahama is always difficult to beat down on the river.

Sounds like nobody really "beat" your team last year. They just got lucky. lol
Re: Can anyone beat the Tomcats this year?
a lot of luck can go a long way. its to hard to go undefeated with your facts they wont even be challenged.
Re: Can anyone beat the Tomcats this year?
Sounds like Trimble would have been in the state championship game if not for all that dang bad luck.

Everyone remember to buy your lottery tickets, and bring a hot date the night you play Trimble. Hopefully some of that luck in the air that all their opponents get will rub off into these areas as well.

LOL Trojan!
I'm unable to make it to any Trimble games this year, but by the sounds of it I should be able to catch a few games on TV.

Yes, run wild, pass wild, score wild. NY has everyone back, + a few for those in the know Going to be a loooooooonnnnnnggggg nite for the kittens.Orange and Brown wrote:NY is gonna run wild over the Kitty's!!!!!!!!
This is the group people at NY have been waiting for since 1982. Another run at the title is not out of the question with these players, especially with the additions. Another state title under the direction of a man named Dave Boston? Just sounds great doesn't it? That is what is great about NY. They have kept the Boston name on the program since the school was named.

Hope the cats go 9-1 this year. the only loss to the boy's from WV. I just want them to kick NY butt....
Re: Can anyone beat the Tomcats this year?
They will be 7-3 at best and maybe slip into the playoffs and get crushed first round.
