I am not trying to be rude but some of this stuff is laughable.

Luke Thompson is the #2 LB but rated the 6th overall LB in a very weak LB class this year. The top 3 have pretty big offers, the rest not so much.

Kaleb Ringer is #1-Michigan
#2-Lewis Perry
#3 Joe Boldon
#4 Mason Moheim
#5 Kurt Laseak
#6 Luke Thompson- rated 75th best player in state (considered MAC level recruit).

Visiting and getting mail doesn't really equal getting recruit by. For instance Michigan is not recruiting Thompson. Ringer and instate linebacker Royce Jenkins-Stone have already verballed and they expect Joe Bolden and another instate linebacker to join them. Thompson does not have an offer from Michigan.

Same thing with the Drew Ervin kid, he has no offer from Wisconsin, and is not rated among the best 100 in the state. Getting mail nad being listed on a website does not equal actual interest imo.

What about Osborne and Prater from Wellston. (Well, formerly Wellston.)
If this kid from Jackson is that big of a name, why isn't his name out there more?

I agree with peake, visiting and getting mail is not getting recruited. However it is where it all starts. Also being considered a MAC level recruit is definetly not a bad thing. As with many players, the 2011 season could see their stock rise or fall.

Agree. I am not at all trying to downplay what an honor it is to be a d1 recruit at the MAC level, that really is a big deal. I just think that saying a kid is getting recruited by Wisconsin when he has no offer then that really is not accurate.

Chris Fairchild from Oak Hill is being looked at by Akron. Probably some other MAC level schools will show interest as well

I know Jackson has some really good athletes this year ,but I dont see any of them making it to D-1. Some will play D-2 & D-3.

Recruiting and just showing interest is totally differnt im saying that drew is on thier interest list and that alone is a honor out of all the kids in the country that could be on it but anyway good luck to all local kids
