No, Sprinter said the "Best 8 from THIS week" so I picked to win this week, not make up games from last week. Playoffs suggest week by week. You don't give Team A an advantage in week 2 because they won by more points in week 1 than Team B did that is just because they didn't win by as many points. Why would the playoffs be cumulative? That goes against every type of playoff I have ever seen...
Re: Round 2 Results For Pickems Contest
I too thought it was done on a week by week basis. I didn't pick to make up games either. If that wad how it worked, the wording was extremely misleading.

sprinter said the best 8 pickers for this week moves on, I agree with fuzzhead and lineman 7
Re: Round 2 Results For Pickems Contest
This is what sprinter put up starting week 2 games
Okay guys, round #2. Best 8 pickers from this week will advance. No more home field advantages.
You know the drill. Please only pick if you are one ofthe peple still alive in the contest.
Burg grad got the final standings from last week adjusted. Thanks again to him for his help!!
Picks must be posted by 5 pm on Friday!!!

Location: Chillicothe, Ohio Yes Earp, you are in. Everyone who tied for that 31st position is in. The tiebreaker score was just in case there was a tie in the top 3 money positions.
There will be 35 people in the playoffs. Everyone from One oak back to the tie in 14th position (thats 17 people total), they will all get a one game bonus as a "first round home game".
In other words, for those people to be eliminated, they will have to miss the 16 person cutoff by more than one game!
I will not punish the other 18 players though and let them be forced out by the one game advantage. I will grade the contest as usual and take the top 16 and ties to round #2, then, anyone from that old top 16 will get one game added back onto their score to see if they can get back in.
It is technically possible if everyone from positions 18-35 place in the top 16, then EVERYONE could move on to round #2. But I have a better chance of hitting he lottery tonight and I didn't even by a ticket.
I hope this makes sense to everyone. I'm just trying to reward the top 16 just like the OHSAA does.
My understanding was each week in playoffs was called a round ,round 1 16 was taken to Round 2 (now out of round 2 the top 8 in round 2 moves on, that is how sprinter described it)
