Wow! didn't they try this before? hmmmmm Remember? they were free and people like myself, who joined ten years ago, when they went, pay to play, they started finding all kinds of reasons to kick off the freebee guys..

BYE BYE JJ's! not that I go there that much anyway...just a peek in from time to time. NOW, is the time for Mattash to beef the site up..

When JJ became free again, I signed up and tried to get into it, but there simply are not enough people from SEOH on JJ. Even when JJ is free, the conversation on SEOPS is 10000% better! I will not pay to use JJ. It's hard enough to get a conversation going on there when it's free!

SEOPS is better than JJ and SEOPS has always been free!!

thats crazy. i can't tell you the last time i posted on jj. my nick is still up to date but i haven't posted on there since like week one. maybe even before that.

i agree seops is by far better than jj

I'm very surprised by the amount of people I talk to who are on here during football season.
It seems to be THE site for HS Football in Southern Ohio.

Let's be honest about what this move is really about.

The editors of Ohio High Magazine and staff of JJHuddle are subsidizing their salary on your backs as posters.

The "content" will stay free because virtually NO ONE would pay for it. People will pay for the message board, but they shouldn't have to.

In reality, the "paid staff" of the website who are in charge of content should be let go, get rid of the content.

Rarely go over there anymore,on a side note when "J.J." actually ran the site he came over and visited my son in Columbus childrens hospital."J.J" was a Col.area fireman at the time.
When he sold the Biz....things changed.

Mentioned where? On a thread "over there"? Well, that won't last long, if it isn't gone already, and the person who posted it got booted.

While I understand maintenance of a website can require some capitol, what they are doing over there didn't work before, and won't work now. They tried it when the economy was good, and now that people are having to make tough decisions about how to spend their money, these "entrepreneurs" think that they can milk it again.

Well, their product 1) isn't the only one in town, and 2) isn't the best product out there.

Good luck with this very poor strategy. I'm guessing that posting volume is going to drop like a rock.

Funny thing is, if it is a good website, plenty of money would be raised through the online advertising. Of course, the more "hits" you get on your page, the more you can charge.

I actually see a decrease in income for the puddle with this move. And then they will once again go back to being "free", to regain memberships, and build up advertising revenue.

Some geniuses never learn......

Well, nuclear meltdown has begun over there. Thread is growing exponentially, and the mods are deleting posts like crazy!!!

Yeah they deleted my post with SEOPS name in it so I just told everyone to pm me for the name of the site. Posters are revolting over there . In the past hour on that thread ive seen curse word , pics of Porn , all kinds of things! Its been the best thread on there in months.
