I don't think it will happen......but if it does, hmmmm, probably a nice fit. They play half the teams already.
Why not?

Ain't gonna happen. There will already be 8 teams in the Hocking starting next year.

not sure about that one. the tvc already needs 2 teams in the ohio division to equal things up. if wahama joins the hocking, that would mean 3 new schools in the ohio; a tall order in my opinion. unless there are alot of schools looking to join the tvc and they go 3 divisions? warren seems to make the most sense, but they were rejected last year as was jackson this year. i would think marietta would stay seoal, or go to the ecol or ovac before the tvc, but who knows, anything's possible. maybe parkersburg south or ripley would be interested in a big school division? probably easier on travel expenses.

I don't see the Ohio adding anymore schools in the next few years and a 9 team league (hocking) is to much in my opinion!

I think with nine teams in the hocking no one could get enough points to ever go to the playoffs, not much points to be had in the hocking division most years.

I agree, The Hocking doesn't have a bunch of teams fighting for the league title every year. Most years its just 2 teams.

Thats why im not really likeing the 8 teams in the hocking a team could go 10 and 0 and still not make the playoffs.

My sources say its a done deal. Belpre voted no, but Wahama was added to the Hocking.

The TVC meeting was yesterday and Wahama formerly applied for admission to the TVC Hocking and was accepted.

The Hocking will have 9 schools, meaning only 2 non-league games for the Hocking schools. The non-league game in Week 3 that was to be Belpre vs. NY is no more because Belpre no longer has week 3 available for a non-league game.

TVC HOCKING -

1. Belpre
2. Eastern
3. Federal Hocking
4. Miller
5. South Gallia
6. Southern
7. Trimble
8. Wahama
9. Waterford

The TVC OHIO stays at 6 schools....

1. Alexander
2. Athens
3. Meigs
4. Nelsonville-York
5. Vinton County
6. Wellston

Is it only a matter of time until the TVC is three divisions instead of two??

I don't think that they will split the league into 3 divisions( I have been wrong before).

I think adding Wahama is a mistake. The Hocking is to week to bet on getting good playoff points from league games! The schools in the TVC-Hocking need there non-league games to get them points.

Trimble will play Nelsonville every year, so who will their other non- league game be against? Will they keep it against Alexander, or play some other team on a home and away 2 yr agreement then play a different team every 2 yrs?
