Ironton @ Coal Grove in Jamboree game

Post by ohbuckeye2 »

Ironton will play at Coal Grove in a Jamboree game at a date to be announced.
This should be a good game as Coal Grove should be much improved this year.

I agree, Coal Grove may want to bring in some more bleachers for this one.

Well lets see, you are going to have OVC scouts, SOC scouts, SEOAL scouts, plus all the non-conference teams that will have scouts and people show up, and I believe a lot of people will judge the Grove by how they do in this jamboree game.

i'll say this i hope it's not our only scrimmage , we saw what happened immediately after throttling greenup county last year, nothing against coal grove but it should be someone much tougher. i all ready know i'll get taken to the cleaners for this

but before you do, just remember the last 2 times ironton played coal grove the combined score was ironton-100----coal grove -0. so i'm thinking this will be a great money maker, but little more, heck i hope it's like this years supervowl. just going with recent history. i'd like to see portsmouth west, waverly, circleville, somebody not on the schedule.

and if I am not mistaken thats when Ironton jumped on the post Lucas era to play them, Ironton knew they could out coach and out play those teams, I think this game will be a lot closer and a lot more competitive than those previous two games.

It'll only be a scirmmage why get so worked up about it already. we all know that coal grove will be a very improved team this year because they have a lot of skilled position kids returning. BUT............. So does Ironton.
I myself think this will turn out to best suit both teams. it will definitly help out the grove to better prepare for there season to come..........

Anything can happen in a scrimmage, remember how Wayne came to your place a few years ago tigers and walloped you 28-0. Don't sell the Grove short, after all it's just a scrimmage.

YTB. YOU KILL ME. YOU CRY AND CRY AND CRY WHEN LOGAN POSTERS GET ON HERE AND CUT ON THE TIGERS AND THEN YOU TURN AROUND AND CUT ON CG AND THE OVC EVERY CHANCE YOU GET. I DON'T WANNA HEAR YOU WHINE NO MORE ABOUT THOSE LOGAN POSTERS.

I READ ON HERE TIME AND AGAIN HOW YOU ACT LIKE YOUR SO CARING AND WOULDN'T TALK BAD ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE AND SCHOOLS AND THEN YOU BACK TRACK AND LOWER YOURSELF TO THIS. I SHOULDN'T BE SURPRISED. PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE WHAT HURTS IRONTONS POSTERS NAMES ON THIS SITE.

THE TONGUE IS AN UNRULY EVIL. BEST THING FOR YOU TO DO IS KEEP QUIET BUT FROM PAST PRACTICE I DON'T SEE THAT HAPPENING. JUST REMEMBER GOD LOVES YOU AND KNOWS ALL.

I think Coal Grove is going to have a pretty good team this year and they will probably win the OVC, some really good players returning. It's going to be a fun scrimmage to watch in my opinion.

Wayne played it as if it was a regular game playing their starters mostly, Ironton played it as a scrimmage doing alot of different line ups. Wayne did have a good team that year though.

Coal Grove got a transfer QB from Spring Valley that has a really good arm, the question is will they use him to throw the ball much with the running backs they have coming back. Coal Grove could very well be a two deminsional team this year vice just ground and pound. We'll have to wait and see.
