They are a joke.

I remember one year St. Ignatius was No. 1 in the country and No. 2 in Ohio. It was funny because even though the team ahead of them didn't lose, St. Ignatius still jumped them to becoame number 1. Really looked bad that they were tops in the country but not in the state.

Its north of I70 and west of I71 in western ohio. But numbers dont lie, southeast ohio is week when compared to the rest of the state. Sad but true.

Anyone who buys into the A.P. rankings should have there heads checked. They are the most bias thing there is about High School Sports.

It is all Indiana has to show how good teams are. The polls are all Indy, Ft. Wayne, and Evansville biased. Teams up by chicago and in the south do not get the recogniation they deserve, especially in the bigger school divisions.

I agree the polls are Bias unless you just pound everyone in this section of the state your chance of getting decent votes are close to none Ironton get the votes based on their past more than the present sad to say .
And I am not putting Ironton down I am a Ironton fan but it's the truth Cincy Columbus and Cleveland area schools will always get the attention more than this area it's something that has always been and will be till we raise up and start to win in the playoffs and prove we are relevant down here to be looked at.
Do this one and done in the playoffs help no one win 3 or win state year after year and it may help everyone.
