ironton is huge have not really looked at a roster yet. but i see about 20 boys over 200, and about a half dozen 300 pounders, they get an attitude shoving some people around, they'll wear you out. hoping the youngun kicking extra points last night , gets lots of work friday, we are gonna need him , with this beast of a schedule.

Which opponents make it a beast of a schedule?

I'd say just for the fact they have John Alder and Bishop Hartley on the schedule that is tough in itself. But, they also have Jackson and Portsmouth, is Gallia Academy on the schedule?? Anyway, if Ironton stays focused, they will go 10-0 and make a run to state. These boys are dangerous.

Ironton rolls over Russell in ho-hum fashion.

As much as I hate it, I'd say Gallia Academy and Portsmouth do not contribute to the beastly schedule definition.

---------------------------------------------i'll try not to be a smart ---. but when is the last time gallia played jonathon alder, columbus bishop hartley, simon kenton, ky, wheelersburg, russell, jackson, chillicothe, ashland, gahs, and portsmouth in the same year.
and be 2 boys from d5.
thats what i'm sayin.

Are Gallia Academy and Portsmouth "automatic wins" for Ironton? No, I don't think so.

that is not ironton's problem, but i hope it's a great game , all we can do is try to schedule the best teams that we can play, or will play us.

i agree fido, seems like that has been a real thorn in our side for alot of years.not having a soccer program i guess aids in that, but we'll need one with our schedule, and hopefully on into the playoffs.
