It's a great story for all you Portsmouth people and old SEOAL history buffs - as Chuck is from Portsmouth where he went 18 - 0 and won an Ohio State HS championship as the starting quarterback; then went on to
UT and went 35 - 0, winning 3 bowl games and was 8th in the Heisman standings in 1971. He was never recruited to the NFL, but went on to win the Grey Cup and Rookie of the Year in 1972. He's an inspiration and will have a story in the new Big Season Sports Central Ohio high school football preview this summer. His will be a great inspiration to our young readers and the story is amazing... My old college fraternity brother is heading up a campaign to get him into the College Football HOF in South Bend. Its a great story and one they hope to end with Chuck in the HOF.
