i think deff. Logan because they had great success and i think jackson, ironton, and porstmouth I dont see gallipolis or chillicothe making it considering jackson beat gallipolis last year and chilli just barely beat jackson last year because we all remember the huge up set the 05-06 season over chillicothe..GO IRONMEN!!!

No particular order, although top 3 will be top CHS, LHS and GAHS
Chillicothe-Sr class is loaded, w/ the top QB in the area and WR's have experience.Fr will be So's now and they are also loaded. The biggest factor IMO may be the Line.Should be one of the best OL/DL units in Southern Ohio.notice I said should.
Logan-Always on top
Gallia-suffered a rough year, but will rebound and have a good year
Jackson-line will be better, and that's their forte
Ironton-not great, but better than the rest

Portsmouth will be down-IMO-they had a VERY good SR class
Warren-will be better, but still not quite good enough
Marietta- unless they install a running game, or just have phenominal skill guys, they'll still be average, knocking off a big one here and there
Zanesville- I see them doing exactly what the Cavs did after the '06 season-alot of similarities-going 4-6 at best

not quite sure I see your reasoning, but your upset over the Cavs was in the 06-07 school year.
I don't quite think the Cavs barely beat Jackson either this past year. Maybe this re-cap from cavsfootball.org will refresh your memory:
Chillicothe 21 Jackson 7
The Cavaliers rushed for almost 300 yards in their 21-7 win over Jackson. The Cavs couldn't get their air game going so QB Caleb Knights took the ball to the ground scoring two touchdowns to go up 14-0. Jackson started to show signs of a comeback late in the game but Zach Ray, on a handoff and strong blocking from Knights, took it to the endzone and gave Chillicothe the win.

REPLY FOR HILLTOPKID THE JACKSON-CHILLI GAME WAS A GOOD GAME AND THEY DID BARELY BEAT JACKSON. IF YOU REMEMBER CORRECTLY THAT WAS WHEN JACKSON WAS HAVING A FUMBLE PROBLEM WHAT I LIKE TO CALL THE FUMBLE BUG. BUT JACKSON DROVE THE BALL DOWN THE FIELD EASILY ITS THE FUMBLE THAT HURT THEM.

1.Logan- Until Someone Knocks them off the top...they will be there..

2. Ironton- Returning Everyone Except For Beach Carter and Runyon..
RB's Murphy Freeman Brice Burchfield Dyer Wetzel...and could go deeper
QB- Returning after a 1000 yard season...which isnt bad considering he throws for Ironton.
O-Line Cramblit White Lucas Warner Sinnott and more will be a load.
Defense- Lets Just Say...WOW

LB's Edens and Possibly Warner or Burchfield
Defensive Line- Monnig White Murphy Cramblit Jones(all returning starters)
DB's Dyer Freeman Brice ect.

3. Chili- Returns Everyone....

4. Gallia Acadamy- Kruz will do his thing..trust me...he is one heck of a ball player..

Thats all i got for ya right now.

Its a little early, but it looks like this right now --

Logan, remains the Top Dog

Then Chilli
Zanesville
Ironton
5th is toss-up with Jackson & Marietta ( if they get a run game)

Too early to tell, but never too early to speculate so here goes IMO:

1.) Logan-New stadium, spread offense, great defense-Hmmm sounds like a recipe for another championship and playoff run. Look for the Chieftains to make a statement in week one.
2.) Chillicothe-With everyone back, I expect big things from the Cavs.
3.) Ironton-Lots of young talent, I think Lutz will right the ship this year.
4.) Jackson-Have been down for a while but they've got to rebound eventually, right?
5.) Zanesville-Lost a great one in gaitors but will certainly not leave the league winless.

Me neither, our CAVS took a knee at the 4 yard line with many reserves in at the end of the game. We could of punched in another TD under 1 minute like someone else may?

And made it 28-7 :!: :-D

I think Logan will be at the top again this year. I also think Jackson will be an improved team so the SEAOL should look out for them.

21-7 is not that close and they were in scoring position late...taking a knee at the 4 yard line is what you do when the game is all but over.

Those fumbles were part of the game......they don't make the game closer.

Thank you Ironman92.
JacksonI-I happened to be at the game to there BUD.Taking a knee at the 4 yard line is showing class. Call it close or call it a big win. All I care is it's a win, and being a defensive coach,I was happy b/c we held you to 7.And yes, the upset in 06 was big for you guys. No doubt about it.The difference? This year we stopped your unbalanced midline option. In 06 we couldn't even slow it down.
football_fan_09--You and I have a different view on close games, I guess. I wouldn't call it a blowout by any means, but I definitely wouldn't call it a close game.Oh well, we're 1 and 1 against each other.
