From my gathering the all time record of West-Notre Dame is
22-22-1. The last matchup Occurred in 2001. If this record is correct this shall decide the better of the schools through the decades.

I'm glad we got a game. I'm sure options were limited. IMO with Waverly, Minford, and Wheelersburg in our conference, we tie Oak Hill and Valley with the toughest schedules in the area, so it's ok to have an easier game.

The Pioneers were 1-9 last year, but should be better this year. Their only win last year was Huntington.

Notre Dame's fortunes reversed when the switch was made from a 10-game to a 6-game regular season. Went from a very realistic chance of starting out 4-0 to now starting 0-2 as they play Northwest the following week now.

On the other hand, six-to-seven games may not be the worst thing for the program since everyone is doing it and it's at least a chance to play. Worst thing for the program would probably be no season at all.

I don’t know anything about SOC I but I do believe Oak Hill is still without a week 1 matchup. Pretty sure they are now the lone SOC II team without one. What’s the schedule look like for East?
