10-2 last year and I know they were 9-1 regular season in 2018 as well.
Graduated an outstanding QB.

They were really good last year. Run a burg type offense Usually good year in and out.

This will be a tall task for the Tigers. Advantages Waverly has is the game is at Waverly and the Tigers are always in great great condition out of the gate. The Tiger offense should be ready to roll with a high octane attack so it will be up to the defense to stop people. Hopefully Waverly is much better against the run this year.

Glad to see Waverly able to get a week 1 game against a larger school

I’m sure they were licking their chops at the chance for payback but that won’t happen now.
In all seriousness this will arguably be one of the best if not THE BEST Waverly team in modern history. I’m just anxious to see what the defense does. The offense should be a well oiled machine.

Will also be the least seen team by the community due to “fan restrictions”...

Which is exactly why we wanted this game. I feel even with what we lost last year this could be Unioto’s best team in the last 2 decades

Maybe we meet in the playoffs, 3rd round.

We’ve mentioned a lot about the Tigers and why we think they will be so good. With what Unioto lost what do they have that makes them potentially the best team they’ve had in 2 decades?

I just said 2 decades for dramatic affect. I don’t know a lot about the history here on the gridiron. Lol

Not many expected Isaac to make the jump he did from his sophomore to junior year last basketball season. His numbers didn’t show it because of the injury but if you watched him any you could see it. Was a complete different player. He hasn’t had the summer we wanted due to his ongoing feet issues but I think you’ll see the same type of jump in football with him having a full season under center behind him. There is just a swag and a confidence there you didn’t see much last year. Some of that is experience and some is the relationship he has with the new coach and the trust they have with each other. As you guys know that position is the most important on the field and I think we have a pretty good one. As far as the rest of the team I’ll say this. We’re fast at every position. Had several athletes that didn’t play under the last staff who are playing now and it just gives us a complete different look and one of the more athletic teams we’ve had in a long time.

My biggest concern is just team experience. We have athletes everywhere but we’re kinda young. Not having a traditional summer with the 7v7’s and the contact scrimmages could definitely set a team like us back. But we’re really excited for the upcoming season. I was telling someone earlier that if we go 0-6 this year I wouldn’t care as long as I get to see his senior season.

That's fine as long as they get a chance to play. There's other ways of getting to view the game besides having to be there in person.

I agree, first priority it getting them on the field no matter what. Period. Just is frustrating that we can’t go to a local high school football game when they are much less safer things we are allowed to do.

Absolutely greygoose. As long as they get to play.
My son is a freshman at Northwest, those kids have worked their butt off this year. They probably going to field the best team they have ever had. So I just want them to be able to play.
