Next year is the last year for the SEOAL, as Jackson will join the new conference in 2017.

SEOAL 2016-2017 school year (final season):
Jackson
Logan
Warren

Or to put it another way, there will only be three more football games and six more basketball games played until the league disbands.

There will not be an all-sports trophy next year. Whoever wins it at the end of the spring sports season this year will keep the trophy forever.

I know the expansion hurt the league
But when they had
Logan
Jackson
Athens
Marietta
Warren
Gallipolis
Chillicothe
Portsmouth
Ironton
Zanesville

Best conference south of Columbus

YOU'RE TIGER BAIT wrote:awesome picture. I would think that jottings or loganlocos would have probably more information on the league as anybody. that would be where I started. I sure do miss ironton football.com. it was the best site I ever been to for information on the fighting tigers, their opponents and the history of the leagues.
Its still out there if you know where to look. I have a lot of the old irontonfootball.com saved on my computer. As well as an old Portsmouth football site that had all of their results.

Some of us have been archiving the league WAY before the death spiral started, fwiw.

BTW - my in-laws recently moved to Seneca. Small world.

you're a funny guy lives. take a look at ironton's accomplishments some day. not to mention every other team here listed. no sense trying to start a peeing contest in a topic where everybody is participating in it nicely.i think everybody here has a deep respect for the league.

Yep, they all pulled the ole Cut-N-Run cause they couldn't compete in the SEOAL and now reside in SEO's JV league.

Says the guy who beg's year in and year out to let his team in that very same "Cut-N-Run" league. Thanks for trying to ruin another good topic
