Although it’s 14-0 Ironton I’m pleasantly surprised and happy with the effort from the Trojans in that first half. Haven’t played like a 5 win team

Getting a little chippy out there. Portsmouth is running the ball decently, just lose steam when they get past the 50. Tigers offense starting to settle in now. Thacker has thrown a couple dangerous passes that should’ve been picked. Hope to see that stop second half.

Portsmouth still fighting. Ironton roughing the kicker keeps Portsmouth drive alive and leads to a score, Tigers proceed to fumble on their first play after kick off.

Ironton playing their worst going into the playoffs, poor discipline, poor coaching, and just awful oline play.

Does Portsmouth know they are down 2 scores? They are running the clock down like they are up 2 scores.

Who's going to tell Pendleton his oline is awful and he needs to get his athletes out on the edge or run routes that don't take 5 seconds to develop

Why did Portsmouth just punt down 2 scores with 4 minutes left? Deep in their own territory sure but you’re giving up on attempting to win the game.

I don’t understand Portsmouth at all the last 6 minutes. Runs and punting while down 2 scores.

I don’t get them at all. Down 3 scores and you take every second of the play clock to run a play. Have to call timeouts to avoid a delay of game. Run then qb run. I don’t get it at all.

This game is bad and ugly. Ironton refuses to put Portsmouth away and Portsmouth refuses to pass and attempt to come back. Such a head scratcher.

Is Portsmouth QB hurt? I don’t think he threw the ball once with 6 minutes down 2 scores.

That was an ugly game. Ironton played horrible and Portsmouth I have no clue what was the game plan. No urgency, you’re down and you refuse to throw. It’s the same plays over and over, you line your team up with 30 seconds left to shake hands. I don’t get it but valley beat minford so maybe the Trojans will get the 16 seed and go back up next Friday.
