I wished the FighTing Tigers were getting a FULL competitive game for the Upcoming Portsmouth game And playoffs.

I guess staying healthy From this ez outing is the silver lining...

Ironton Backups In.

The Blue Devil firsts are still in...

I wonder when the last time a team put 52 up on a Gallia team?

Point Pleasant in 2016, if memory serves. 62-10 I think.

After all the smack talked about the Tigers they put a curb stomping on the Academy. :D

Wow. Just......wow....hell of a game from Ironton and a poor showing from the Blue Devils. Hats off to the Tigers for a big win. Blue Devils need to regroup and get ready to travel in week 11. Likely matchup with either Waverly or Indian Valley. IV would spell trouble with a capital T.

Still likely to get John Glenn or waverly. Still early in night to figure it all out.

Go back to year before Penrod came we gave up 50 like 4 times in 2016.

Maybe Gallia should not have left the SEOAL where they had some competition. When you beat up on teams with losing records then come up against a good team, you are going to have a hard time.

Good luck to Gallia Academy next week and in the Playoffs.

Gallia could still have a 3 way tie for the OVC

SEOAL was a dying league. Portsmouth and Athens both left before GA, if memory serves. PTown might have left the year after though.

SEOAL was a great league and still would be with GA, Jackson, Ironton, Athens, Chilly, Logan, Portsmouth

I think Portsmouth, Gallia, Jackson, Logan and Warren were the last five teams. Portsmouth joined the OVC one year before Gallia.

It was a great league, but when you put teams that have to travel so far, they killed the league. Gallia, Jackson, Athens, Logan, Marietta, Warren was a good fit and distance wasn't that bad, traveled those games for many, many years. Adding Chillicothe and Portsmouth made travel for teams like Marietta and Warren a long distance to travel on a school night for sporting events. They could have added teams like Meigs or Nelsonville back into the league. Still, the SEOAL survived for more years than any other in the state of Ohio before they started messing with it.

I'd say Athens is the outlier as they'd never leave the TVC anyway.

GA
Ironton
Portsmouth
Jackson
Chilly
Logan
Maybe try to add Burg or Waverly

Waverly was in the league years ago, that was always a long trip on a weeknight for basketball game.
