Best game I've seen quite awhile. Sometimes the opponent can make you uncomfortable and cause your team to make mistakes. This was the case for both sides. Wheelersburg beat a great team.

Unfortunately Waverly has a tough region, but they could make some noise.

We all knew Burg was the real deal and they are. Congratulations to them for sealing the deal with that last drive.
What we didn't know was how good this Waverly team was and how they would respond to such a high pressure game. The Tigers impressed a lot of people tonight even with the loss. Tigers played well enough in the first half to get their bearing and had all the momentum in the 3rd, outplaying the Pirates. Tigers had it first and goal at the 8 to start the fourth and Harris carried defenders inside the one setting up 2nd and goal from the 1/2 yard line. Tigers will be beating themselves up knowing they were that close to taking the lead and who knows how Wheelersburg would have responded.

Tigers have to put this one behind them knowing they stood toe to toe, exchanged punch for punch against arguably the best team they've played in a long time. Tigers need to start preparing for West, cannot afford a letdown - Tigers have to finish 9-1 to make the playoffs.

What an atmosphere and what a crowd. Easily the biggest crowd to ever see a regular season game at Waverly. We ran out of tickets for crying out loud!

I absolutely hate loosing but that was a great game! Air came out of Waverly after we didn't score having the ball on the one yard line. Regroup and finish strong. Good Luck to Burg the rest of the way.

Ya, knowing Wheelersburg did nothing to stop em right there deflated them a bit. Tigers had to step up and get the ball back but just couldn't do it.

I didn't get to see a game tonight. I had a surgery at adena this morning and had a hunk cut outta my left leg. then spent the rest of the day in the hospital with a sick mrs. bait. I got home at 10:24pm. but I was coming through Portsmouth right at the time this game was ending . picked it up at the interception at the end. by the time I got to Lucasville heading north on 23. it was wall to wall cars in both lanes from Lucasville all the way through downtown waverly on the way home. must have been a monster crowd. sounded like a barnburner. it was wall to wall head lights as far as you could see,

Tigers pick up second level playoff points from Piketon (6-1), Zane Trace (5-2), Unioto (5-2), Fairland (winner over SP) and I don't know about Caldwell.

Easily the biggest crowd to ever watch a regular season game at Waverly. Standing room only all the way around the fence.

Man oh man, I want us to host a first rounder. Have to win out and hope some others lose. I think some of them play each other.
Teams we beat have to keep winning as well. Only problem is Piketon has Unioto and Zane Trace to play and SOC teams play each other.. Fairland and Caldwell need to win some more games.

Very impressed with Waverly's turnaround in one year. Very quick guys and play very hard. Will be rooting for them the rest of season and into playoffs. Great game, weather, and atmosphere.

PA system that bad at Waverly?? Or is it operator error can't put your mouth on the mic. lol

PA was not very good at all- it may be better with smaller crowds, may have been pushing it to its max tonight- other than that it was a great atmosphere- great crowd, good concessions. Waverly is the real deal-
