It appears the temps will drop drastically during the week so it will be difficult holding onto a cold/slick ball...The team protecting the pepperoni wins....The weak and highly overrated Burg "D" wins the turnover battle....

It won't be at Valley. OHSAA says you must have a fence around the field. Valley don't have a fence around the field.

I don't think Valley can host because they don't have a fence around the field or something along that line....I've seen something like that posted on a few other threads..

Really that is interesting I never heard of that before but would make sense.

The thing everyone needs to understand the schools have to put in for a playoff game for it to be played at their school.

Early word is game will be held at Fawcett. Something about southern teams need to travel.

Anyway early prediction is Ironton 56 Burg 15. Thats the early line from Vegas.

Valley put a line fence around their field for their home playoff game, is that not enough?

I'm not sure on the rationale or anything else pertaining to the fence....I think Valley would be a great venue to host playoff games but how many games would they need to host to break even for constructing a fence around the entire stadium?

Portsmouth be best for both teams.
Ironton lost a key lineman tonight and LB got hurt early.
But think the game will be closer and better played than the first.
Don't know who will win want the Tigers to win for sure.
But want both teams to come out healthy and who ever wins advances and shows SEO is still a force to recon with.

Ironton has been begging for this game for a couple months. Well you got it. But you probably won't be happy with the results.

Are you sure about that. I heard from a pretty reliable source that they had put in to host 2nd round games.

Looks like this thread is going to get ugly so I'll post this and leave it alone.

Good luck to both teams and may the winner represent our area well in the Regional Final.

Hopefully that is my Pirates.

GO BURG!!

Ironton was rolling last night until they lost #75 then they look like the life had been suck out of them. If they get their heads back on right and play like they did against Jackson this will be a really good game. I have watch each team a few times this year. With the two injuries that hit Ironton it will be a tough row to hoe. This game will not be a blow out either way. Better get there were ever it is going to be held early to get a seat. it will be a 7 point win for one of them.
