If Athens has a passing game they might be able to win this game. If not, Gallia can stop the running game enough to win.

Good hearing from you Bulldog..... Nice to have 2Old back..... I witnessed 2 'MIRACLES AT MEMORIAL' That year...... I believe we beat the Other Northern team that year......LOL..... Things will be pretty quiet this year at GAHS... New coaches , new offense, new school, ect.... Biggest thing this week is for the students to figure out the best location in the new school to get cell phone reception...

How ya been 2old??? Even after the Donnie Johnson years we were able to give the Chieftians a run for their money... These last couple of years have been a one horse race... Everyone keeps telling me this new coach will bring us back to the glory days.... I can't wait to see our new offense, something called the wing -Tee.. That must be big in West Va....LOL....

I think over the years Logan andGAHS is pretty even. Been a little onesided the last few years, but these things have a way of evening out.

I think Athens has the momentum coming into this game. They tasted victory and want more. The Bulldogs have lost and won some close ones last year so look out cause I think the Dawgs are hungry!!!!!!

Blaze,

Just to help you out. Gallia is playing Athens this week. You will get your chance to see Logan soon enough. Do not miss the opening kick off. It may be the last time the game is close. Until kick off enjoy the next few weeks knowing the score is currently 0-0.

The Logan GHS series is tied 36-36-1 I think so that was a close series!!!!!
Gallia has played Logan very well over the years.

Now back to AHS vs. GHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

orange,

I believe Logan now leads the series with Gallia. The stats you mention do not include the 07 and 08 games. Logan won both those games if my memory is correct. Oh and my memory is correct.

With the talent and ability of the young blue devils you will see improovment each week. They have tremendous drive and as they learn the new system it should be interesting. To beat athens they have to have better pass defense and on offese they must complete the drive once they get to the red zone. At each of their scrimmages they basically beat themselves.

gahs is a very talented team but they are very inexperieced and will go through growing pains this season returning only 6 lettermen ;they will get better every week but thier schedule isnt an easy one with logan and ironton on it,i think the devils will win 4 games this season the fans need to be patient with the players learning the new system with coach eddy....teams better enjoy beating the young devils this season cause they will return to the top of the league next season

devils win this game 28-15

I have to root for the TVC ,Athens in this game . I think it will be a dogfight though,Gallia will be hard to beat at home.
