Jackson and Chillicothe are always good hard hitting games . I would not expect a blowout on either side. But if it makes you feel better to pick against Jackson it's fine. I hope the rockets can get a win this weekend

The rockets should win fairly easily this week. Maybe not so much the next few.... Probably outta worry about burg and not chillicothe at this point thou cause jackson gonna need all the cheers they can get just to walk off the field after this

Jackson will not intimidated by Burg and win or lose Burg will know they was in a fight. That's why there is so much mutual respect between the programs. There are a lot of haters who are waiting for Jackson or burg to lose so they can say "told you so". It's all good.

I'm A Chillicothe guy ! But the hype behind Wheelersburg is a bit ridiculous. Are they good yes, invincible like you all claim not at all. Pulling for Jackson we will need playoff points when we beat them week 10. Tough hard fought game. I'm taking The iron men at home 35-28!

Ya know since everyone wants to bring chilli into this topic let's squash it. Burg scrimmaged chilli this year and handled them fairly easy. In a real game burg would beat chilli. Probably with or close to a running clock. There is years that chilli would repay the favor.. however. How many points would chilli get for beating d5 burg as opposed to what burg would gain from beating d2 chilli... in sure burg would love to play chilli schedule.. y'all that are saying the dumb stuff. Are just haters that your program isn't as good as burg or Jacksons. Admit it. It's ok to root for other schools. Heck I root for all the soc2 schools when they aren't playing burg. I wish chilli the best in every game as well as Jackson. I mean, I was never fortunate enough to beat ironton while playing at burg but I still root for them when they aren't playing burg..

Right. Last year heath was 10-0!!!! Like I said on another thread. No matter who burg beats it will never be good enough... if burg beats this 4-0 Jackson team it won't be good enough. Same for Jackson. If they beat this 4-0 burg team it will never be good enough. Some people I tell ya.

I'm not saying Burg isn't legit because they show they are a force year in and year out but the reason burg doesn't make it out of the second and 3rd round of the playoffs is because they schedule teams that aren't great or are good area teams not contenders. I understand Chillicothe is still seeking its first playoff win since 2009 but have been in the playoffs 4 out of 5 years playing teams like Deseales, Clinton Massie, Hartley, Marion Franklin, Thurgood marshal, Brookhaven before closing, Johnstown Monroe, and big walnut in early non conference games consistently. I was an assistant athletic director from 2015-2016 it's not hard to schedule up at all especially with a resume such as Wheelersburg. Travel and financially could be a struggle but other than that if you want to play up it's easy to do .

You don't think burg is playing up? Fairland is gone next year and Hartley is added. Heath was 10-0 last year we play 2 d3 schools.. what else can burg do? I know for a fact we were in contact with massie and they are booked for a few years.. most contracts are made a couple years in advance. Burg is doing a fine job. Their schedule is good. If burg beats Jackson they lock up a play off spot. Just 5 weeks into the season....

I just have a few questions for the numb skulls. What does Burg or Jackson have to do to be a "legitimate" contender? What is enough? What kind of schedule should they have? You armchair quarterbacks should be quick to answer that.

Both their schedules are perfect fit to get them into playoffs and with the new league and burg it helps jackson alot with passing defence and everything. I have nothing against either of their schedules
