Funny Ironton already has a myriad of excuses if they lose and ready to win state if they win. Oaks remember, Ironton is not in tip top shape this year!

Unless the rain hits. 40% chance of rain at game time.

May this be an injury free game, get to the bye week and get ready for the Playoffs.

i don't think you'll hear many excuses win, lose or tie. i see this new wave of tiger posters being pretty honest about stuff myself.

my pappy is up visiting from ironton, i really hope this rain holds off, so we can go. he's 72. and has emphysema, or however that's spelled. though he was never a smoker. he was around it literally all his life. he is not even completely well from setting out in the rain at johnson central, ky.he just can't kick things like he used to. he already said, son, that's what he calls me son, lol.
if it's raining i ain't going. and i think mrs. bait is with him on this.i can't drive that far myself, because i'm legally blind without my contact lenses after 3 cornea transplants.so i always gotta have a spare driver with me, in case i have contact lens issues.we got our tickets n gassed up we'll have to play this by ear.so hopefully we can pull out of here to better skies, it's raining in waverly right now, here at lake white , and quite windy, we'll have to see what happens. we have not missed a game so far.pray for clearing skies.

whoever is doing the rain dance , please stop for a few hours.

Unfortunately I'm working tonight in Columbus. Is this game being broadcast on the Internet? Good luck to both teams, but GO OAKS!!

good luck to the tigers tonite. i am gonna be n lucasville watching the pirates. this week goes a long long way towards finding out if ironton is indeed a contender for a regional title run. they are gonna have to prove it to me. i am leaning towards thinking this game is gonna be a dogfight just like in lucasville between valley and burg.

ALMOST GAME TIME - GO IRONTON FIGHTING TIGERS
On the radio on WIRO 1230 AM - granted not a powerful station with wide range.
Jason Philyaw and Kevin Anthonee with the call - they're the best
But it's also on the internet: http://www.foxsports1230.com/main.html
Click on LISTEN LIVE at the top left corner then on PLAY STATION in the middle.

Good job so far tonight by the Ironton defense, linebackers really keeping the running game in check.

Another 4th and goal stop, great job by the defense to keep Oak Hill scoreless in the 1st half.

only issue you could complain about so far is a lot of penalties for the Tigers tonight. Just killing this drive with penalties, from the 16 to the 35 yard line. Lewis with a nice catch and White with the first down, so penalties aren't a drive killer.

and Thomas gets popped and fumbles the football right before the endzone, turnover on downs.

Another big goal line stand for the Tigers, keeping the Oaks off the scoreboard.

6 - 3 for the season with the bye week coming up. Most likely a home game 1st round.
