Don't think Carpenter is that sort of coach.
If it gets that bad it will be from Lancaster JV being that much better than our Jvs

I thought Logan came into this game with a great gameplan. The difference in this one was penalties killing Logan drives and lancaster waring them down as the game went on.

Lancaster has a ton of work to do on defense if they plan on stopping any passing offenses this season

35-13 Lancaster

Solid effort from Logan - the Gales were just too big, too strong, and too deep for the Chieftains. But Logan looked very much improved - they were in position to make plays most of the night.

Offensively, Cory McCarthy was a workhorse - gaining over 100 yards and playing nearly every snap at linebacker making a ton of plays.

Lancaster gained 421 yards - all on the ground. They did not complete a pass. Logan gained 308 yards - 187 on the ground and 121 through the air.

Logan committed 14 penalties for 139 yards - and also failed to score on 3 red zone attempts.

Pickerington North CRUSHED Watterson tonight 38-3 - so the Chiefs are in for a TOUGH TOUGH match-up next week at home against the Panthers.

I agree . Logan tired out in the 2nd half. I think Lancaster is a playoff team if they continue to get better, which I think they will. If Logan can surive Pick North and Reynoldsburg, they will do fine in the SEOAL...

Went about as I expected except Logan was passing the ball around way too much in IMO,,,McCarty only had 12 carries and still got over a hundred yards,,coach Wolfe please scrap this passing assult and feed this kid the ball,if it means not using him at linebacker as much so be it, but they have to get him more involved to be successful, coach Wolfe is still stuck with that spread mentality for some reason, them quick hitters will only work for so long,Lancaster is usually very stingy against the run but tonight i think if Logan would have stuck with the running game more and pass unexpected they could have had success,,,and the penalties uuugghh every play that Logan ran I expected to see a yellow hankie somewhere, the defense played hard, but they looked worn out by the end of the half when Lancaster started to run wild on them,,overall they gave it all they could but just didn't have enough in the tank.Next week could be a real bear and they will have to be sky high again which is hard to do 2 weeks in a row.........

Logan ababdoned the run.....oops.....BIG MISTAKE.....a kid averaging over 10 yards a carry and then pass and give back the ball to a dangerous team...scrap the spread....go with the personell you have this year....NOT 2008-2009....THEM BOYS ARE LONG GONE.....going to be a long season if you wanna throw 3 passes and take a minute off the clock.........no wonder the ''D'' got wore down......BIG MISTAKE.....

From I have read and heard Logan played an inspired game Friday night, but just got wore down by the depth and strength of Lancaster.

The fact that this game was so close (7-0 Logan for a while, and only 15-7 Lancaster at half) should prove the heart that these kids have.

Cut out the penalities and pace yourself to have that strength reserve in the 4th quarter and this team will finish the season great.

As far as dumping the pass and sticking to run......well lets just say I can remember a few years ago when Robinson had a bad rap with the Logan faithful because of his over use of the run and not enough pass, the joke was that you could call the plays from the stands. Now Wolfe is the scapegoat, granted he is the offensive coordinator but he is on the sidelines for a reason. Of course I can't wait to see the arguments if he would go to an 80% run/20% pass offense and people saying he wasn't passing enough. Remember if you primarily run and the defense loads up against it, you need a good passing attack to take advantage. Keeping a team ready for both seems the better choice to me.

Tough game this Friday, especially with seeing what Pick North did to Watterson. Keep your heads up Chiefs and take it one game at a time, forget last Friday and look towards the next.
