Anyone else using cattleballs as strength training?

Post by Purple&Yellow Pride »

Yesterday, someone was talking about the use of a new strength training implement known as cattleballs. My question is whether this is common in strength training today? Who is using them? How are they used? Where can we get them?

After you strength train with them, you can dissect them in science class, too.

I have been told the workout is in the attempt to aquire these things, and not acutally in using them. Supposedly this is a great conditioning exercise to add to your workout.

Actually I believe they are called Kettlebells, and yes they are a good workout supplemental. I watched a demonstration of these workouts last year at a track coaches convention, very nice just really expensive now, in one - two years will be reasonably priced.

Do you mean to say that some schools, like Southern, will NEVER be able to find success simply because they haven't had success in the past?

Seems to be a common thing down along the river. Ironton is going to be good every single year simply becuase of what they did back in the 80's, why not mean to say that they wouldnt be successful becuase they havent been.

It's funny when people think Ironton has only done anything back in the 80's

How many teams can say they have done what Ironton has done in the 80's, 90's, and 00's.

80 - Regional Final
82 - State Runner Up
85 - State Semi Finals
86 - Regional Semi Finals
87 - Regional Finals
88 - State Runner Up
89 - State Champions

90 - Regional Finals
91 - Regional Finals
92 - State Runner Up
93 - State Runner Up
94 - Regional Semi Finals
95 - State Semi Finals
98 - Regional Semi Finals
99 - State Runner Up

00 - Regional Finals
01 - Regional Semi Finals
02 - Regional Semi Finals
03 - Regional Semi Finals
04 - Regional Semi Finals
05 - Regional Finals
06 - Regional Quarter Finals
08 - Regional Semi Finals

1980's Record....103-12-2...89.5%
1990's Record.....87-31......74%
00-08 Record.....78-27......74.3%

We at Fed Hock wear our Carharrt warmups while using those cattleballs. This allows for optimal muscle temperature and growth...
