Rare to see hang time from the elevated stands in a football game.

Our defense was so ridiculously good. Very very impressive!
How about Roseberry's punt pinning Watterson down on their own 3 yard line. That was sweet. Little things mean a lot ;)

Should be Hoban or SVSM. I think they are supposed to do it based off distance but wouldn't be surprised if the Cleveland beanies beat Toledo central catholic they will play Waponketa's region.

Jackson/Zanesville winner would most likely play the Trotwood/Wapakoneta winner, but the state does re-bracket sometimes. I believe the OHSAA is probably hoping for a state championship match-up of Benedictine vs. Hoban/SVSM, so they might try to manipulate the brackets to set that up. If it goes by the true bracket though, the Region 9 winner would play the Region 10 winner.

Zanesville is different animal than Watterson...go prepare, go believe, and go play hard. Congratulations but there is more work to do.

Is Zanesville a running or passing team? Anyone know much about them, who are their go to players, etc.

Saw they were on TV in the DeSales game but haven't caught the replay yet.

Any Z-ville posters on here that can fill us in a bit.

Well, was doing a little bit of research, http://scores.nfhsnetwork.com/ohio/scho ... lue-devils shows their roster and stats related to each player all the way through the desales game just have to click the player. Looks like starting QB Grandstaff is 84-138 passing for 1507 yards and 13 Td with 4 INT, 175 yards rushing. Leading rusher Leo Crosby 1211 yards, 15 tds on the year but also has 94 tackles on the season and had 17.5 against desales, second leading rusher Deuante Goins 680 yards, 8tds. Leading Wr Alessio Amato 36 Rec. for 716 yards and 9 tds, 2nd leading WR Ben Kaufman, 37 Rec 528 yards and 4tds. So if all of that is correct looking at a team that passes about 10-12 times a game targeting just 2 wrs in the passing game and Crosby is the leading rusher by a wide margin with 180 carries on the year at a 6.7 average per carry. Look to be more of a running team with some passes sprinkled in but they hit it for big plays when they connect looking at almost 18 yards a pass completion for Grandstaff.

Week 5 don't matter lol, I was just using it as an example of what I thought was the turning point which led to Week 13 for Jackson.

Yes, Week 13. Eight teams left. So don't pay to much attention to ole bandit lol.

Let's talk about Z-ville and how to get another win.

Wow Atens HS. Not enough seating there that's for sure.I know Jacksons fan base will fill up the home side and half the visitors side.Would have been nice to have this game at Peden Stadium. How well does Zanesville's fans travel????? Anybody know???
