Scioto Valley Conference

Post by bman »

What does everyone think after Week 1 of league play? Piketon goes down in a surprising loss to ZT and is now 1-3. Westfall went to 2-2 with a big win over Paint Valley. Don't know if anyone can go undefeated, but I look to Westfall as the favorite.

Zane Trace defeating Piketon was not a surprise.

After losing 31-6 to Amanda and 41-17 (41-3 when LE put in the backups) to Logan Elm it was. Their only win of the season came against a winless Rock Hill. Piketon was considered one of the league favorites going in. All the credit in the world to ZT for pulling off the upset. They could very well be a player in the SVC race.
