THIS IS GREAT NEWS, I HATE TO SEE ANY ATHLETE HURT. I'VE BEEN THERE I BLEW MY ACL, MCL, AND CARTILAGE AND MY POSTERIOR LIGAMENT ALL TO HECK. BY A CHOP BLOCK. I STILL CRINGE SEEING SOMEONE GET HIGH/LOW BLOCKED. IT SHOULD BE OUTLAWED. ALL BLOCKS ABOVE THE WAIST I THINK.

you know i saw somewhere , where somebody made the statement football is brutal. it made me think back to something. years ago, on monday night football. there were some african dignitaries, and tribal cheifs in the pressbox. one of the announcers asked them what they thought of american football. i'll never forget the man's comment.

[Our thoughts and prayers for continued improvement, both mentally and physically. It's more than just a physical injury. These young men have conditioned and worked so hard to be where they are, and to have to sit on the sidelines and watch their teams, either win or lose, without them. If they win, the player wishes more than anything he was out there with them, helping them to victory and if their team is losing, they feel a sense of responsibility and guilt for not being there to help. It's a tough road to have to travel down. Good luck and best wishes to the athletes, their parents and friends. They really need the community rallying around them and keeping them 'up'.
