Ironton needs to forget last week and get ready for this week. The main thing is for them to get that intensity level up and get back to the basics of hitting people. Another thing is hold on to the football. You cant win if you dont got the ball. 20 plays is way to many to sit out. When you go one way there is no sense in that unless you are hurt.

any chance Ironton will get back to the option, any time soon? Maybe one of the changes needs to be a few plays with a more mobile QB? Murphy may have taken 20 plays "off", but the other 30 plays he was pretty darn good. Better than anyone else Ironton has.
Ironton should win the next 3 and then basically the season will rest on a 2 game road trip. At Logan and At Chillicothe. If Ironton can get at least a split on those two weeks, they should be ok. However, if they lose to Chillicothe and Logan, lookout. 5-5 or 6-4 are real real possibilities. At Portsmouth, with their wide open offense, will be very interesting. I know their has been much optimism, but someone must step up for Ironton, or the wheels may come off the wagon again this year.
