I was talking to a guy the other night about Hartley and he told me they are using their voucers really well right now and the football program is looking as good as ever.

He went on to tell me about all of the "voucher players" they have and how srong not only the VARSITY as well as the JV team.

This one could get ugly fast.

I hope the Tigers can overcome and pull off the upset.

Always awesome when someone starts off "I was talking to a guy the other night and he told me..."

I have looked at Hartley's program (I have followed it as well as many others all over the state), and the overwhelming majority of players came up from their feeder schools. The feeder school teams on the Eastside of Columbus have been very strong for a great number of years, and thier main feeder, Eastside Green Wave (St Catherine and Christ the King) have played for the championship several years in a row.

But, hey, dont let the facts get in the way of a good story. Saying someone 'is using vouchers really well' sounds pretty sinister and seedy and makes for a much better stroy...

Should be a great game this week. I am hoping to get out and see it.

Ironton needs to build on The Jackson game the did somethings right and some wrong.
Need to tackle for sure this arm tackling they are trying is not working and will not work.
need to sustain blocks for the backs to run through work at it Ironton and go to Columbus and bring back a win.

Ironton will at least make a game of it and hopefully can pull off a much needed win.

If my source is wrong then I am wrong, but being he has a friend on the coaching stafff I am going to lean torwards him being correct.

The voucher program is legal(I do not like it)but it is allowed.

Dont be afraid to find facts first.....nah, that might be too hard.

I have known their coaching staff for a while. Nothing can be further than the truth.

Ironton has no chance at Hartley. Hartley will contend in the final game to be state champions of DIV again this year.

Yeah....I didn't figure in the first level points of the remaining wins.

5-5 would likely sneak them in....6-4 fo sure and well....best of luck versus Hartley and in the playoffs. Maybe we can host for you guys in week 11.
