While I am rooting for Burg to go all the way and represent Southern Ohio well...Coldwater will destroy Burg. End of story.

Burg isn't even in the place where they play coldwater. And is this observation based on how you feel, or have you seen both teams play live?

I've watched Burg play 5 times this year (Ironton, Jackson, Minford, Valley and Ironton in the playoffs) and I watched Coldwater twice on TV. Burg will play hard and give it everything they got but Coldwater is on an entirely different level. I'm hoping Coldwater gets tripped up before Burg has to play them because I'd like to see a SOC team win a state title but if Burg has to play Coldwater it will be a 3-5 TD spread IMHO...but of course I could always be wrong.

If Coldwater were to get tripped up along the way, I think Brookville has the best shot... CHCA not so much and Canton CC would also get squashed like last year. That's the only team I see keeping it close and maybe pulling the upset before the state finals.

Burg fans are knowledgeable and honest about what they see out of their teams. This teams defense has not given up more than one td to all the first teams offenses they've faced. I doubt ridge wood puts that many up unless they get them off turnovers.

I understand the honesty, passion and knowledge Burg fans have about their team and rightfully so. Yet the Wood supporters do as well. Wood has been to the Burg twice in past 8 seasons, lost both contests by a score. Wood has played 2 state championship burg baseball teams in the regionals twice in past 5 years, both won by the burg yet both competitive. Wood is aware of the tradition of winning in the Burg.

Post as you wish, gloat all you want, look ahead to the next round, continue on your pompous mission of the Burg is better than everyone else bull$hit. To be honest, Wood doesn't give a F@#*, they are coming to play the game. Win or lose they will play hard, they wont quit.
Sidenote, Wood has Regional title in past 6 seasons( 09), Burg does not.
