Sometimes the best place to be is close to home but not home. Does that make any sense?

Absolutely, and the fact that he owns and runs his family's farm near Gallipolis just helps the case.

If you are too close to home, you have to deal with too many old biases, and those can be really hard on a hometown boy.

From what I heard, he only kept one current staff member and that was Jonathon Eaton.

Looks like a great hire to me. Knows the kids and knows the system. heard he was defensive kind of guy and everyone know what wins Championships! :-D :-D

Good luck Coach Woodward. Just remember you will always have about 50 or more coaches sitting behind you in the stands giving their opinions about how you should be coaching.
