I wouldn't rule it out. No one out in Adams County has football. Manchester is a pretty small school and I think that they would be a nice fit into the SOC. The only thing bad about Manchester joining the SOC is the trips to road games. It is a good 45 minutes just to get back to Portsmouth! But, that is about the only back drop I can see. When you live in Manchester you have to travel far for about anything. If you have ever been to Manchester you know what I'm talking about. It is in the middle of nowhere. lol

Yes Manchester has lost a lot over the years.Went back there a lot in the 60s then just a couple times in the early 70s and you could see everyone left.

They have a lot of trouble with floods over the years. Most of my relatives have moved.

I'm glad they are giving football a try again.

South Gallia should join before Manchester. If they join it would be a 9 team league or 10 with them and South Gallia. That's too many.

Doesn't seem like the SOC I teams would be the closest. But, when you live in Manchester nothing seems that close I guess. I remember driving through that area and Manchester is in the middle of nowhere....I think it is a 45 minute drive all the way back to Portsmouth!! That is a long drive for fans but, I am just glad to see that they are going to have football in Manchester. Good luck !
