Well, I hope Belpre wins the title again but whoever wins it, they will have to earn it just like last year. And no, I do not think the TVC was down last year. I think the teams were just very evenly matched and provided the fans with a good year of football.
I think Belpre, Meigs, Nelsonville and Vinton County will all be good and will probably beatup on each other as the season plays itself out.
Alexander is trying to build their program and Athens, well, they will be in the middle of the pack their first year. As they gain experience in the TVC they could be a major player in a couple of years.

I think NY will be back on top this year. NY has most of last year's team coming back and some quality underclassmen that will step up to replace the few key losses NY will have.
NY already has 17 official league championships (it was the 18th that was taken back this past season).
1. 1973
2. 1975
3. 1976
4. 1978
5. 1979
6. 1981
7. 1982

14. 2003

It will be very nice to see Belpre's numbers climb to where they should be. Almost as nice as it was to see them stop messing around with the uniforms and get back to that beautiful orange helmet.

My vote would be orange helmets with a big black, block B on the sides.
I like the old school look of white pants and black jerseys for home games and white pants and white jerseys for away games.
Of course, I remember wearing the old black wool pants and orange jerseys from my 9th grade year. The wool pants were so heavy that we had to put white tape across the thigh pads to keep them in place. We thought the white tape was cool.
Looking forward to an other year of exciting Belpre football in 2008.

Re: TVC Ohio, Will it be up or down this year
I think the TVC will be even better than last year. Goodluck to all teams.

wellstonrockets, I saw on another thread somewhere (dont remember which one) that there are some kids from VC that transferred to Wellston. Any truth to that or is it another bashing attempt?
