5th Annual Coal Grove Bench & Deadlift Meet January 26,

Coal Grove High School will be hosting the 5th Annual Coal Grove Bench and Deadlift Meet on Saturday January 26, 2008. This meet will be very competitive and will have lifters from WV-OH-KY.

Site: Coal Grove High School Gymnasium

Weigh-Ins: 10:00 to 11:15

Lifting Starts: 11:30

Weight Classes: 125, 135, 145, 155, 165, 175, 185, 195, 210, 225, 250, UNL

Medals will awarded to TOP 3 in each Weight Class

Ribbons will be awarded to 4th through 6th Place

Team trophies will be awarded to TOP 3 TEAMS

Awards will be given for TOP TOTAL AND POUND FOR POUND

T-Shirts will be sold for $10.00 and Concessions will be provided

***ALL LIFTERS MUST REPRESENT HOME SCHOOL, NO LIFTING CLUBS WILL BE PERMITTED***

Congratulations goes out to Josh Walker of Rock Hill....Weighted in at 197 lbs. and moved-up to 210 lbs. class....

Bench press was 330 lbs.

Dead-lift was 520 lbs.

Winning his class with a total of 850 lbs.

I would like to thank all of those who attended the 5th Annual Coal Grove Bench and Deadlift Meet at Coal Grove High School. We had a tremendous meet with over 200 lifters and had lifters from West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky. Everything went very smooth and the lifters competed with great sportsmanship. Again, thanks for coming and we hope to see you again next year.

The Southeast Ohio Regional Powerlifting Meet will be held at Coal Grove High School on Saturday February 23, 2008.

Anthony Clark and Tony Murphy were the only two from Ironton I seen....
