River Valley in a slug it out, battle of attrition, 21-14. River Valley's defense has improved each week and I think will only continue to get better.

I am shocked at you mattash.......I thought of you as a high school sport historian.....surely you remember last year's victory at NY that sent the coaching staff into fist a cuffs with each other and basically led to the demise of the entire season.....

I know RV beat NY when Greg Deel was coaching and Joey Graham was QB for the Raiders.....around 2003....RV was still playing in Cheshire.

As for this years game.....RV needs this one to solidify their place in the TVC title race....although I think Athens will win it......I will go with the Raiders as I do every week...in a close one......RV will need to contain Edwards and make NY have to pass....they have a good running game but passing is more difficult for the Buckeyes.....should be a great game.....

RV at home will be the difference......Best of luck to Coach Sparling , his staff and players.....GO RAIDERS!!!!

This game is big for NY. Win and they can still have a very nice season . Lose and the season is basically over!

That's what I was thinking. A lot of pressure on NY this week.

I'll go NY 28 RV 14 but I thought NY would beat RV last year. So who knows

You are correct, it was 2003. The raiders beat the buckeyes 18-7 in cheshire!!

And that's the bottom line, b/c Stone Cold said so....

Pulling for a RV win here but, With Nelsonville playing a tough non-conference schedule their record is a bit deceiving so tough to judge either team from a way outside perspective. But I will go with my heart and say RV works some magic in OT.

RV: 21
NY: 14

I think that as long as the Buckeyes take care of the ball they will win by a few touchdowns. If they turn it over more than a couple times, the Raiders will make a very good game of it.
Mental toughness is the key the rest of the season. The boys need to dig down deep and play with BUCKEYE PRIDE!

#48 only 10 carries last game and the QB again struggled throwing the ball.

Both things will have to change for NY to take this one.

The quarterback didn't practice much that week because of a stiff neck and he did throw better than the previous 2 games.
Turnovers really hurt us against LC.
