Fairland hung around against Wheelersburg and gave them their closest contest. Wasn't that game 21-0 at half? That's not bad against a team as dominant as Burg.

Waverly is going to have to stay focused and be ready to play that's for sure. I'm looking forward to a good game.
It was 28-7 at half. The 1st half was over so quickly that most teams in area were starting the 2nd quarter. Fairland is very slow. Waverly will win big.
Burg started off really slow and lathargic against fairland dont know why ? But they didnt play good at all in the first quarter Burg should have won by 50 hopefully that wont happen again! And Waverly should win this game easily

I remember when these waverly kids were freshman. Unioto had a nice group of freshman and we played them. It was ugly they had a lot of speed. Great class for them this year hope they make the most of it. Tigers big in this one.

Any last minute news regarding this tilt? Injuries? Weather? The topic seems quite.

Burg is AT Waverly but there are two games to be played before that one. Tigers have some payback to take care of next week.

Payback won't be difficult, Caldwell only returned 4 kids from last years regional finalist. One is done w a knee injury. They are 1-3 and Waverly could win by 100

Waverly only lost a few seniors from last year's 5-5 team and I understand the freshmen that came in is a pretty good class. No reason why they shouldn't have improved from last year.
