I don't think anyone has that kind of attitude.
Sure folks are happy that our kids can move forward with a new coach, but I haven't talked to anyone who has unrealistic expectations.

You're telling that there is no one that needs replacing, not one?

Only had 6 seniors on the team. Only a few were starters.

Who were those? How much impact did they have? Any of them need big replacement?

The big improvement this year will be in coaching. With that PE guy returning on O and last years DC getting his job back I see a deep playoff run.

Exactly the way you are acting with the new staff at Trimble!

Sum-it-up you are so full of it. If you only new half of what you think you know about football you would be scary. Now I just summed it up.

NY was pretty banged up last year..NY had a lot of problems besides that .hopefully those issues are behind them..will they go 10-0 they could. .
Coaching and commitment and kids coming out will determine the outcome of the season ..will they have speed sure will ..will they have a better season that last guaranteed they will. ..Go Bucks.

Really?
We had more starters in Street clothes than on the field because of injuries by the end of the season and size was the problem?

Nelsonville-York has never really had a lot of size. We get a couple big boys every few years ago, but never on a consistent basis. The Bucks have always relied on speed and conditioning.
Other than the coaching issues and the injuries, the Buckeyes had some issues with conditioning.

Nelsonville-York has always taken pride in being the best conditioned team on the field and over the last couple of years that hasn't been the case.
Over the years the Buckeyes have won a lot of games because of conditioning and they will get that edge back.

Better condition is a complicated thing now. Was NY better conditioned in the past? Maybe. But that's when teams just lined up and went head-to-head for four quarters (which takes its toll on you). The game is changing, it's more of a skill game now than ever before. Football will always have a 'toughness' quality to it, but being stronger, more physical, or better conditioned in that manner no longer guarantees wins - or success.

The big problem was the TVC was a lot better than in recent years. NY barely beat Trimble. Alexander blew Trimble off the field

Conditioning will keep you in a lot of games. Especially with the track meet style of football everyone wants to play now.
You can still wear a team down noatter what style of football you play.
Yes conditioning is better across the board now, but you still have to have the attitude that your not going to be tired in the 4th quarter when the game is on the line.

You gotta give our boys a break. They went through he*l last season. It didn't just suddenly start against River Valley.

They were never given the chance to live up to their expectations or abilities.

I can count on one hand when teams have out hit Jackson
Usually way more physical

Nelsonville York is cut from same cloth

Yes conditioning is a huge part of a teams success and we had them in shape for game one last year. Then the HC took over cause a few kids were complaining about too much running and, well, the rest is history. But it wasn't all conditioning. NY's defense shut down Rusty's offense and he knows this. That's why he's been trying to get the DC from the beginning of last season to come back.

I think the DC coming back would help. The kids really like him. However I don't think it's up to rusty. He might want him but its the BOE that has to approve it. Keeping that in mind you never know what could happen. My son which plays likes him and liked some of the other coaches. Only time will tell. But let's hope they let him come back.
