Lucasville Valley Football

Post by Football_Fan »

Thoughts on the 2016 season? Can Valley put another productive and competitive team on the field that can make a run in the playoffs? Or are they in rebuild mode as most thought the last couple years.

I'm guessing around 6-4ish. Few down years ahead, but some really good kids coming up through the program.

I think the SOC schedule will be tough for the Indians. Minford, Waverly and West I think will be pretty good ball clubs, think 2016 will be a little of a rough patch for the Indians, but never count that group out of anything they will figure out a way to compete and win.

Next falls season will be a difficult season for our Indians. It will be a reboot situation and dependent on how the underclassmen have progressed will have a huge impact on the following seasons. Next season 6-4 at best.

It's hard to determine a schedule for the Indians right now considering last season they had a bye week. Also playing Raceland last year I think that may have been a one year deal?

Only 2 games posted for Valley on OHSAA right now is Dawson-Bryant in week 2 and @ Piketon in week 3. I'd assume the conference schedule would be the same as last year, just flipped locations. I also hope Portsmouth remains on the schedule too.

Portsmouth should remain as that game is now considered a "rivalry"

Any news on Valley? Any players incoming or leaving? Has the scheduled filled up?
