Noone really cares
This is a dumb comment. Of course teams care about winning their league. Yes it’s a small league but you have to believe that’s one of the goals the team lays out at they beginning of the year.

Win the TSl
Win the OVAC
Make the playoffs
Win the region
Win the state title

That has to be the main 5 goals of the team.

Did you have to tell them who was in the league?
What's your point? I'm sure they know ALL 3 of the teams in their league.

If the TSL doesn't matter, then why did Fort Frye even join?
My point is, noone cares if you win a league composed of 4 teams. The games matter, and however we can get games on the schedule then that's what you do. And winning matters as well. Ff needs to do whatever it must to get 10 teams on the schedule.
You act as though Fort is so dominant that literally no one will play them. Let’s be honest, if Fort wants to fill their schedule then they can do just that. Steubenville seems to get it done and they manage to get every team they play to come to their place.

Morgan had a rep at one of the last league meetings but they ultimately decided to stay in the MVL.
Interesting! To each their own, I thought since the move to the big school division would hurt their football they might pull the trigger. Probably if the TSL continues to grow they'll give it a 2nd look.

Steubenville is playing teams of similar size (divisions 2-4), and within an hour of Steubenville. Teams people tend to suggest for The Cadets tend to be much bigger and much further away - Which they have done, but nobody needs an entire schedule like that.

Fort Frye is already playing a ton of schools bigger than them. People need to realize we’re D6 with around 30 players. Playing bigger teams with 50-70 players is a huge disadvantage. Most of the Cadets play both ways. Also when you play bigger teams players tend to get hurt. Also we can stop trashing the schedule they’ve been top 3 in harbin points last 6 years. That is based on who you beat and who they beat. So what they are doing is working.

Ok, give me some names of schools in our area. I'm not talking Ironton or Jackson or that crap. Legitimate names and let's discuss.

Fort would love to play MVL schools similar size

Philo , Morgan , Cambridge , West M , Crooksville , and Maysville

Also would love to play Buckeye 8 teams such as

Union Local , Martins Ferry , Harrison Central , and Indian Creek.

Fort Frye was in PVC since the 60s.

What did all those teams do run and make another league.

Instead of making an all new league they should have just kicked out Fort Frye.

If you want to schedule tough teams that are small schedule marion local or Kirtland or Coldwater. The drubbing that you take will only make you better.

Never heard that response before. Noone is saying ff is in the class of ML or kirtland.

Do you really want Fort Frye to be better? I haven't noticed any of your pro-Cadet posts.

Oh yeah just go ahead and schedule the teams 3 1/2 hours away. You do realize it takes both teams to agree on the game right? Whether people want to believe it or not a lot of teams around the area dropped FF for a reason. Someone pointed out earlier that Steubenville fills their schedule. And yeah they had to do it last year with teams from PA, Maryland, and DC. FF has done the best they can filling their schedule with quality opponents.

Coshocton is pretty far. Everything else is within an hour and easy to get to.

Point Pleasant lost a very close game to Warren, which in itself was a little surprising to me. I will take the Cadets to bounce back with a win over PP.

Fort matches up well vs a running Point team that struggled bad vs wing T last season. That being said I think this will be close. Cadets by a score.

Was JG and Fort only a one year deal? Or who didn’t want to play this year?

It was only a 1 year deal. Fort already had Marietta scheduled for 23.
