Hoping to see the Trojans open up their offense a bit more this week. It’s been a pretty plain offense to this point with only two or three players getting involved to any degree. Come conference play that will be easy to defend. If Greenup has any good film on the Trojans, they will easily figure out their offensive play calling has become very predictable. The O-line will need to hold up more than they did against West. The Trojans need to extend their time on offense, but do so with a more balanced offensive attack. Let the athletes be athletes and create some excitement on the field. If the Trojans start off 1-2, they will start to see the home gate numbers decline fast. The Trojans are a fair weather fan base. You don’t win and fans don’t show up.

I watched greenup county last night. The QB is the entire offense, he likes to run. But Portsmouth needs to run more than the few plays we have seen. I think it will be a close game.

Greenup County’s first two games were a 36-28 loss at Coal Grove and a 21-19 win over Russell KY. And like was said above, the QB was more of a runner than a passer. At least in the CG game.

This game is an enigma. I'll say PHS at home but not sure. It's early.

I’d like to pick the Trojans in this game, but I think Greenup might win this one.

I was thinking the same thing. I was at the game against West and the Trojans was very sloppy and if that continues this week, GC probably wins this one. Hope I'm wrong. Good luck Trojans.

Sounds like it will be a quick game if nothing else. Neither team seems to have much ability to air out the football.

Big points game if the Trojans can pull it out. Could be the difference in a home game.

Feel like this is definitely a 50/50 game. I think GC has more of an ability to pass than the Trojans do. That could ultimately be a factor. Offense has to stay on the field a bit more, defense will gas out again if the offense is like it was last week at West. Need to pick up this win, important one come playoff time. Go Trojans!

Williams is 2/2 to start the game. If he can develop into a web who can pass enough to keep defenses honest it could be a huge difference maker for this team.

Williams is starting to gain some confidence , he’s been able to complete quite a few nice throws.

Had a good shot to win that one in OT. A few mistakes here and there, to be expected with some inexperienced players in key spots.

Tough loss for the Trojans. But the greenup quarterback stole the show, he was really good.

Tough loss, I think the Trojans go on to win that game if he doesn’t fumble. That said Cam Williams really showed up. Started to get some completions and confidence soared. Trojans will be a lot better team if they can mix in that passing game with their run game. Offensive line wasn’t great again though, too many GC guys in the backfield all night. Portsmouth has to get more physical, thought GC man handled them most of the night. I know no loss is a good loss but walking away I feel better about the offense and maybe the QB position than I did before the game started. Onto Rock Hill
